Aston Villa fullback Stephen Warnock is anticipating some stick from Burnley fans when his side visits Turf Moor this weekend.
Warnock used to play for the Clarets’ local rivals Blackburn Rovers before moving to Villa Park in the summer.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail he said: “I’m sure I’ll get a bit of stick when I go there but hopefully it will all be light-hearted and not too heavy’
“The rivalry is very strong. They had a very intense derby the other week. They like their football there.
“The Bolton game was the kind of performance we’ve been threatening and it was a great result.”
