As his second anniversary as Burnley boss nears, Owen Coyle reveals he knew immediately that Turf Moor was the place for him.
Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph he said: “I had a lot of clubs as a player and you always get a feeling for a place the first time you walk through the doors.
"Turf Moor’s atmosphere is conducive to a good working environment, and I felt that from day one,” said the 43-year-old.
“I’d turned down three approaches from Scottish Premier League teams when I was at St Johnstone because I felt I was building something there and putting the foundations in place, which I would hope I’m doing at Burnley.
“But when the Burnley interest came about, with all due respect to the other teams, it was a different ball game.”
