Bolton Wanderers full-back Marcos Alonso has revealed he was pleased to be involved in their Carling Cup defeat at Burnley.
The 19-year-old made just his second appearance for the club at Turf Moor on Tuesday night following a summer move from Real Madrid.
Although Wanderers lost, he remained positive.
"As a team we gave a good account of ourselves and were unlucky," the left-back told the club's official website.
"We've just got to forget the Burnley match as soon as possible and focus on the next game against Manchester United in the Premier League."
