According to reports Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez is urging his board to make an offer for Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill.
Benitez was interested in Cahill when he was manager of Liverpool and it seems he is still keen on landing the English centre-back.
It is understood that Cahill's representatives have already been in contact with the Italian giants about the possibility of a January move.
The Milan-based Mediaset says Inter chiefs Marco Branca and Massimo Moratti are looking to revamp their ageing back line and see Cahill as one for the future.
