Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle believes young keeper Adam Bogdan is ready to step into No 1 stopper Jussi Jaaskelainen’s boots.
The 22-year-old is set to face Arsenal due to Jaaskelainen’s sending off against Birmingham City last time out.
The Hungarian stepped in for his club debut at the Reebok and pulled off a number of vital saves to earn his a side a point in a 2-2 draw.
Coyle told Sky Sports: "I have tremendous belief in young Adam Bogdan, so much so that we have allowed Ali to go out on loan.
"We now have to develop Adam and Ali has to go and play in the Premier League.
"It was always going to be a win-win situation. We didn't want Jussi suspended but it will allow Adam the opportunity to show his qualities."
