Bolton Wanderers new signing Rodrigo Moreno has revealed he is itching to make a start at the club.
The 19-year-old has joined Wanderers on a season-long loan deal after originally moving from Real Madrid to Benfica in the summer on a five-year deal.
Coyle was also in the race to sign him but the Spaniard chose to join the Portuguese giants, but the Scot has since landed him on a temporary basis to give him first-team experience.
Moreno told the club’s website: “I'm very excited at making such a big step in coming to the best league in the world.
"The manager has known about me for a long time and because he has been pushing for a transfer to bring me here then it motivates me a lot.
"I want to give back to the club all the confidence that they have shown in me so I'm going to do my best to help the team to reach their objectives.
"I'm very much impressed with the stadium and the training ground. I already knew that Bolton are well established and respected in the Premier League but now I have an even better idea of how big a club this is.
"I want to thank everyone at the club for helping this transfer become possible and I'm looking forward to next Monday when I get the chance to meet all the players and start work.
"I played with Marcos (Alonso) last season. He is a great player and a great friend of mine. Hopefully he will help me adapt to the English way of life because he has been here a month already.
"I can speak Portuguese and Spanish and I'm already looking forward to learning English because it will help me with the rest of my life.
"So I'm not just excited about playing my football but also living in England."
