According to reports Coventry City have won the race to sign Bolton Wanderers youngster Danny Ward.

The Sky Blues were in a battle with Millwall and Leeds United to take the striker on loan.

Leeds United recently pulled out of the hunt but it seems Coventry have been The Lions to Ward’s signature.

The Mirror claims that while the 18-year-old is set to move to the Ricoh Arena, Wanderers boss Owen Coyle will only sanction the move once Ward signs his new contract with the club.
