According to reports Liverpool FC have entered the race for Bolton Wanderers midfielder Matt Taylor.
Wanderers' Mr Versatile has been reportedly linked with a move to West Ham United with the Hammers believed to have made enquiries last week.
Taylor hasn't featured in either of Wanderers' opening two Premier League fixtures and may demand a move before the end of the transfer window if he continues to be overlooked.
Trotters boss Owen Coyle is keen to hold onto the 28-year-old who impressed at Portsmouth before moving to the Reebok Stadium in 2008.
Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is looking to reinforce the defensive side of his squad and see Taylor as a player with the necessary degree of Premier League experience.
