According to reports Middlesbrough are interested in Bolton Wanderers full-back Jlloyd Samuel.
The Mirror claims Boro boss Gordon Strachan is looking to lure the defender to the Riverside.
Samuel has slipped down the pecking order at the Reebok Stadium and the Scot wants to take him on loan.
Samuel also attracted enquiries from Newcastle United at the end of last season.
