Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is reportedly chasing Everton FC defender Joseph Yobo.

The Daily Star Sunday claims Coyle will face stiff competition with Newcastle United who are also believed to be keen on taking him to St James’ Park.

The 29-year-old defender has suffered a torrid time with injuries this season and has struggled to feature.

The Star believes Toffees boss David Moyes is ready to offload the Nigerian.

Oh come on for Chrissake. Yobo has been a commited if occasionally flawed part of the Everton revival under Moyes. Stop the snide comments

Can he take the Yak with him too. He is the laziest player I have ever seen in my life. Definately not an Everton player.

If he is surplus to requirements, which I hope not; there are better less disfunctional teams in Europe for Joseph
