Bolton Wanderers defender Paul Robinson has revealed that on-loan Arsenal FC midfielder Jack Wilshere has a bit of a temper.
Robinson had to step in at the end of the Aston Villa defeat after the youngster clashed with Villa’s Stewart Downing and Gabby Agbonlahor.
Four players were booked after the final whistle by referee Mike Jones after some ugly scenes.
However, the experienced defender insisted the incident was a storm in a teacup.
“I was just trying to break it up,” he told the Bolton News. “Jack’s a fiery character and you like to see that from a young lad.
“It was just a scuffle that needed calming down a little bit.”
