Liverpool FC prepare bid for Bolton Wanderers winger Lee Chung-Yong

Liverpool FC are reportedly preparing to swoop for Bolton Wanderers midfielder Chung-Yong Lee.

The Daily Star claims Reds boss Rafa Benitez is ready to splash out £8 million to take the promising South Korea international to Anfield.

Lee would arrive as a direct replacement for Albert Riera.

Last week Lee's management company moved to play down rumours in his homeland of an imminent switch to Merseyside.
