According to reports Bolton Wanderers are set to move for Stuttgart marksman Cacau.
The Sunday Mirror claims Cacau has rejected a three-year contract extension at Stuttgart in order to find a new challenge.
This development has alerted Wanderers boss Owen Coyle.
The Scot is expected to be dipping into the summer transfer market but, with limited funds available, a player such as Cacau is attractive as he will be out of contract with the German side.
However, it seems he will face competition from Wolfsburg and Sevilla.
