Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has admitted Ivan Klasnic’s fitness will have a bearing on his long-term future at the club.
The Croatia international was signed on loan from French club Nantes by former boss Gary Megson, but has struggled with injury problems since Coyle took over from January.
"It's important that Ivan is fit and that will also have a bearing on the summer," said Coyle.
"We need players who are fit and ready to play week in week out."
