Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has insisted Lee Chung-Yong will still be at the Reebok Stadium next season despite rumours of interest from Liverpool FC.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the winger following reports in the South Korean press.

In his debut season Lee has been instrumental in Bolton’s renaissance under Coyle and his performances were always likely to alert other Premier League clubs.

However, Coyle is keen to keep Lee and has hinted they could offer the 21-year-old a new deal to secure his long-term future.

"He is a Bolton player and I see no reason why that would change," said Coyle.

"He has done fantastically for us this season. But like any other player, I will sit down at the end of the season, review how long is left on his contract and what, if anything, we want to do.

"That's the way I have always worked and he will come under that."
