Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was pleased with Dimitar Berbatov's two-goal haul at Bolton Wanderers.
The Bulgaria international took up the challenge in the absence of Wayne Rooney during the 4-0 win.
Ferguson told MUTV: “Dimitar showed again he can play there. His preferred role is to drop in behind striker but he’s proved time and time again that he can play on his own.
“He had Ryan (Giggs) close most of the time and I thought he was always a threat to them."
