Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill has admitted that the players believe they are not yet in a position to relax as the race to avoid the Premier League drop intensifies.
Cahill made his return with a place on the bench against Everton at the weekend after recovering from a blood clot in his arm.
He said: "Credit to the lads because they've done really well without me.
"We've come up against teams in and around us in the last six weeks. But we're going into four really hard games now.
"The league is looking a bit healthier but, make no mistake, we are still not over the finishing line. We still have points to get."
Cahill is trusting boss Owen Coyle to bring him back at the right time.
He said: "I want to be involved straight away but you have to be a bit sensible."
