According to reports Gavin McCann may have played his last game for Bolton Wanderers.
The experienced midfielder has been told he will require surgery to the ankle injury that has plagued him since the turn of the year.
His last appearance came in the 4-2 defeat against Arsenal in January.
The Bolton News claims that with his contract due to expire this summer, it leaves a big question mark over the 32-year-old’s future at the Reebok.
