Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle reckons England coach Fabio Capello should consider Zat Knight for a late World Cup call.
The centre-back has been a major factor in Wanderers defensive improvement over the last few weeks.
And he hopes to help keep a sixth clean sheet for Coyle at Sunderland tonight.
Coyle said: "Should Zat be in the frame? Why not? He's played for England before and you can see why.
"Matthew Upson is in the squad and we were up against him at the weekend, but Zat was just as accomplished.
"I see no reason why he shouldn't be mentioned with Upson and the others."
