Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stuart Holden has revealed his footballing hero is Manchester United legend David Beckham.
Holden faced LA Galaxy star Beckham last season with Houston Dynamo.
And after enjoying an outstanding game in the win over Wolves, Holden revealed: "I grew up a Man United fan and he's someone I have always modelled myself on.
"Obviously Beckham was someone whose work rate and delivery I really admired.
"I played against him for Houston in the play-offs and we exchanged a few words after the game.
"I didn't get his shirt but it was cool to play against him. Now I'd love to play against England in the World Cup - and beat them."
