Portsmouth FC boss Avram Grant is reportedly keen on signing Bolton Wanderers centre-back Danny Shittu who is also a target of Rangers FC and Celtic FC.

The Daily Mail claims Grant hopes to seal a loan deal today for the giant Nigerian to replace Younes Kaboul who has left for Tottenham.

Shittu has been linked with a number of clubs during this month's transfer window with the big defender well down the pecking order at the Reebok Stadium.

Shittu is keen to secure first-team football ahead of the World Cup this summer.
