According to reports, Stuart Holden is set to land a Premier League contract with Bolton Wanderers.

The Sun claims Bolton boss Owen Coyle hopes to sign American midfielder Holden from Houston Dynamo today.

Holden is currently out of contract with Houston and looking for first-team action in readiness for the World Cup this summer in South Africa.

The 24-year-old Scottish-born star impressed during a two-week trial at the Reebok.
