Wanderers boss described the assistant referee's decision to uphold Wolves' opener as "pathetic" as it helped the Midlanders to a 2-1 win.
The defeat has intensified the pressure on the already under-fire Wanderers boss.
Megson watched as his side had the lion's share of the play but still finished pointless.
The fact that the goalscorer Jody Craddock was clearly offside only compounded his obvious frustration.
Speaking to Sky Sports he said: "It's so obvious it's untrue.
"I don't suppose (referee) Chris (Foy) can see it from his position.
“The referee, I think, is a good referee, but I think he has been let down badly by his linesman because Craddock is offside all the way.
"There are times where it comes down to antics of whether all his body is offside but to not be given offside is pathetic."
