Wanderers will have to battle it out for Sheffield United centre-back Matt Kilgallon as Hull City have joined the hunt.
The Daily Star claims Tigers boss Phil Brown is willing to part with £1 million for the defender.
Kilgallon is out of contract at the end of the season and it is believed he and the Blades have reached an impasse on agreeing a new one.
Newcastle United have also expressed an interest.
