'Nothing good would come’ from Grant claims ex-Bolton’s Ben Haim

It appears former Wanderers defender Tal Ben Haim will not be looking forward to Avram Grant taking the helm at Portsmouth.

The Israeli international left the Reebok to join Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. However the Portuguese manager soon departed to be replaced by Avram Grant.

Speaking about his time at Stamford Bridge, he had these none-too-flattering words to say about his fellow countryman Grant.

“Jose Mourinho is the reason I came to Chelsea and if I knew Avram Grant was going to be the coach then I would have signed for another club”.

“I knew that nothing good would come with Grant as Chelsea coach.”
