Aston Villa v Bolton Wanderers: Match Preview

Wanderers travel to Villa Park having only won once in their last five outings.

But boss Gary Megson was nevertheless happy with his team's application at home against Chelsea last weekend despite them losing 4-0.

Jlloyd Samuel's sending off in that game means he will miss the chance to return to his former club but former Villains and centre-back pairing Gary Cahill and Zat Knight will be available.

Full-back Paul Robinson will also have incentive to do well against Villa having joined from West Brom on loan.

Defender Danny Shittu and forward Riga Mustapha are slight doubts with hamstring trouble, while Joey O'Brien and Sean Davis remain long-term injury absentees.

Winger Matthew Taylor is expected to return to the starting line-up having been left out against Chelsea.

Up front, Johan Elmander, Ivan Klasnic and skipper Kevin Davies are all available.
