Wanderers Kevin Davies believes his side will benefit from the increased competition for places in the forward line.
Davies has so far scored three goals this season and on-loan Croatian Ivan Klasnic has got off the mark with a priceless late winner against Everton.
Davies believes that the introduction of Klasnic has taken some of the pressure off struggling Johan Elmander and they are mow looking forward to the clash away at Aston Villa this weekend.
Speaking on the club’s website he said: “John has come back from injury and he really wants to do well for the side.
“He is a good, honest lad and he gets frustrated at times because he wants to score goals for the team.
“He has looked really alert since he has come back and this week in training the lads have said that he looks like he means business.
“Ivan Klasnic has come here and made an impact as well. He picked up a slight groin injury down at Chelsea but he has come on a couple of times as substitute and has looked sharp.
“He is a natural finisher who knows where to be and knows how to score goals; plus he is also a good lad in the dressing room.
“So hopefully the manager has got one or two headaches as to who is going to play this weekend.”
