According to reports Liverpool are to launch a bid for Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mark Davies.
The Bolton News claims Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is preparing a £5 million raid for the Wanderers playmaker.
Despite bolstering his midfield option with the acquisition of Republic of Ireland ace, Keith Andrews, Wanderers boss Owen Coyle faces a fight to keep hold of the 24-year-old.
Aston Villa are also believed to be interested in Davies.
