Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill has revealed he is chasing Bolton Wanderers veteran Kevin Davies.
While Sunderland are yet to make a formal offer, O'Neill admitted he could firm up his interest before the transfer window closes tomorrow night.
O’Neill revealed his thoughts on the combative frontman after Sunday afternoon's 1-1 FA Cup fourth round draw with Middlesbrough.
O'Neill said: "I did make an enquiry and Owen would obviously want to try to keep him.
"I may well follow that up tomorrow morning."
