Bolton Wanderers are reportedly battling to persuade Liverpool to loan them Raheem Sterling.

The Daily Mail claims Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is hoping to land the former Queens Park Rangers youngster.

It is understood that Coyle will face competition from Swansea City and West Ham United should the Reds decide to loan him out.

However, it is believed that the Merseysiders are at this moment inclined to keep him at Anfield.
