Chelsea reach compromise wage deal to land Bolton Wanderers ace Cahill

According to reports Gary Cahill and Chelsea were able to compromise to agree a deal on Friday.

The former Bolton Wanderers defender was at Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea's victory over Sunderland on Saturday.

The Star On Sunday claims the two side finally settled on a wage of £80,000-a-week.

Chelsea originally offered £70,000-a-week, while the Cahill camp were seeking £100,000.
