West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has dismissed rumours that he is chasing Bolton Wanderers attacker Kevin Davies.
Reports claimed Davies was a transfer target for Allardyce during this month's transfer window.
His Wanderers counterpart Owen Coyle has already rejected such talk and Allardyce has now done the same.
"There's nothing in that as far as I'm concerned," said Allardyce.
"I haven't spoken to Owen Coyle. At the moment I don't know anything about that scenario."
Allardyce signed Davies while he was in charge at the Reebok Stadium.
