Blackpool FC deny deal for former Charlton Athletic defender Llera

Blackpool have denied reports suggesting they have wrapped up a deal for experienced Spanish centre-back Miguel Angel Llera.

Several media outlets had claimed the former Charlton Athletic man had tied up a one-year contract with the Seasiders, but the club have confirmed that Llera has only joined on trial at their training camp in Portugal, along with former Queen of the South full back Bob Harris.

Talks are also ongoing to strike permanent deals for Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger and Birmingham City midfielder Barry Ferguson, whilst Liverpool youngster Gerard Bruma is close to finalising a move to Bloomfield Road.
