Crusaders striker Jordan Owens has branded Blackpool's offer they made for him and team mate winger Stuart Dallas as 'laughable' in a recent interview with the Belfast Telegraph.
The Seasiders have been tracking the Northern Irish duo since the early summer, but it appears their bid to bring in both players has fallen way short of expectations.
"It wasn't a great deal and what they offered me and the club was not good enough,' said Owens.
"The Crues were not prepared to accept the offer and what they offered me was disgraceful really.
"It was just not acceptable. It came down to their chairman offering a deal which [manager] Stephen (Baxter) laughed at himself. We couldn't leave the Irish League and live on what they were offering."
