Puncheon impressed during his loan spell at Blackpool

Blackpool are set to table a £500,000 bid for Southampton winger Jason Puncheon, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 25-year-old impressed during a loan-spell in the second half of last season and Seasiders boss Ian Holloway has been interested in a permanent move ever since.

However, a host a clubs are thought to be battling it out for Puncheon's signature including fellow Championship rivals Birmingham City and Millwall.

Blackpool will have to pony up a lot more than 500k if they want Punch, Cortese will just sling fax in the bin, he is a tough cookie!
