Blackpool are reportedly in talks with Birmingham City midfielder Barry Ferguson about a possible switch to Bloomfield Road.

The 33-year-old former Rangers star has been touted as a possible replacement for the departing Charlie Adam who joined Liverpool in a £7million deal earlier this week.

Ferguson has a year remaining on his current contract at St Andrews and could be offloaded as the Blues attempt to slash their wage-bill following relegation from the Premier League.
