Blackpool have signed former Preston North End left-back Matt Hill on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old enjoyed a productive spell at the Lilywhites between 2005-2008 and has a host of Championship experience.
Hill was a free agent after leaving Barnsley at the end of last season and has signed a one-year deal with the option of a second at Bloomfield Road.
"The manager tried to get me a long time ago when he was at QPR but for reasons it didn't happen," Hill told the official website.
"I'm grateful now to work with him because he's got plenty of enthusiasm. He wants to play football and I feel that he can help my game."
