
Blackpool defender Ian Evatt has put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the club this afternoon.
Following rumoured interest from other clubs, the Seasiders have swiftly moved to secure the future of the 29 year old centre half on a two-year deal with the option a further year.
This follows the earlier news of Stephen Crainey extending his stay at the seaside, with out-of-contract goalkeeper Matt Gilks also expected to follow suit.
Youngsters Ash Eastham and Liam Tomsett have also signed one year deals with one year options thi afternoon.
