Luke Varney has signalled his desire to return to Blackpool following his season-long loan spell at the club.
The forward scored five goals in 30 Premier League appearances after joining from Derby and is expected to leave Pride Park this summer with a year remaining on his contract.
Varney is unsure whether Blackpool will make a bid to re-sign him, but would not hesitate to link up with Ian Holloway's side in the future.
"I spoke to the gaffer briefly after the final game against Manchester United and told him that if there was ever an opportunity to come back, I'd snap his hand off," Varney told the Blackpool Gazette.
"You never know in football. Even if there was a case of me coming back on loan, I'd definitely embrace that.
"It is a place I know and if two clubs came in for me and a decision had to be made, I'd choose Blackpool straightaway."
