Ian Holloway believes the Premier League are hoping Blackpool are relegated on Sunday.
The Seasiders travel to Old Trafford to face newly crowned champions Manchester United in a fixture that will decide their top flight destiny.
"They will be relieved if we lose and get relegated," commented Holloway. "Then I am not badgering all these people who don't do their jobs very well.
Reports suggesting United will field a weakened side with one eye on the Champions League final - therefore handing Blackpool a better chance of achieving a result - have infuriated Holloway.
"They think we can only beat Manchester United if they are weak. What a load of baloney. Unfortunately, that is what we are dealing with."
"Already, they are saying Blackpool can't beat them. I am glad I don't go to work thinking that, otherwise I would never have got promoted last year.
"On Sunday, we have to try and do the impossible. It's got to be perfect. No one else has beaten them. And if we do, they might get fined because we are rubbish."
