Charlie Adam has handed Blackpool a massive boost by indicating his immediate future lies with the club.
With the January transfer window looming, it is understood that interest is high in the player who has been instrumental in the Seasiders’ impressive start to life in the top flight.
"I always look to the future and my future is at this club at this moment," said Adam, who celebrates his 25th birthday on Friday.
"I owe a lot to this club. I just hope that in the 18 months I've been here I've rewarded them in some fantastic games."
The Scotland international midfielder recently won a £20,000 contract dispute against the club, but insists this is now behind him and he is only concentrating on his future as a Blackpool player.
"We had an agreement in the contract and that's what it is. It's finished now. At the end of the day I want to play football.
"The decision has been made and I'll move on. The past is the past and I want to look to the future."
Although the club currently occupy a respectable mid-table position in the Premier League (13th), Adam feels they can push higher.
"It's not a surprise to anyone within the club. In fact, we are surprised we are not actually higher because we've played some good football," he said.
"But we have shown we are capable of playing at this level. We are still living the dream and hopefully it can continue. We are confident we will stay in the Premier League.”
