Ian Holloway is looking forward to welcoming Mick McCarthy to Bloomfield Road on Saturday having cleared the air with his Wolves counterpart.
Holloway apologised to McCarthy over a misunderstanding which arose as the Tangerines boss tried to justify his controversial 10 changes at Aston Villa last week - a decision that has left the club subject to a Premier League investigation.
Wolves were fined £25,000 last season when McCarthy made wholesale changes for his side's visit to Manchester United; and Holloway suggested McCarthy did not think his side could win the game anyway.
"He was unhappy with what I said - I have never been unhappy with Mick," Holloway said.
"Mick did what he felt was right and I don't think he should have been fined.
"Mick is a great manager - if I even do half of what he has done I will be delighted. Mick and I haven't got a problem.
"But that story has gone, let's move on. I am just getting on with my team for Wolves - it's quite ironic that we play Wolves next."
The match is being billed in some quarters as crucial to both teams' survival hopes.
But Holloway said: "It's no bigger than any other game."
"We can take points off anybody - I don't think these teams are invincible anymore.
"Look at last weekend's great result for Sunderland. It looked like Chelsea were invincible but if Sunderland can do it, why can't we?
"This is just one game out of 38 we have to play. I don't see any six-point games at all."
