PFA Executive Gordon Taylor believes that Blackpool shouldn't have let Charlie Adam's recent contract dispute go to Court.
Adam is claiming he's owed £20,000 as part of a survival bonus, and Taylor believes the club should have just paid up.
Speaking to talkSPORT earlier, he said: "It's really disappointing. It's in the public domain with Charlie's dispute. It does appear really straightforward. He had a bonus when he signed for the club and they retained their Championship status. It just seems quite amazing that they're refusing to pay."
"It's not a massive amount considering the amount of money Blackpool get. Their promotion raised in the region of £30million and he was a key player."
"It just doesn't seem the best exercise at all in public relations for the sake of the club, the player and the fans."
