Ian Holloway has called out for the use of video technology after claiming three key decisions went against his side in the 3-2 defeat to Manchester City.
Holloway, who took a place in the stand for the game whilst serving a one-match touchline ban, had a lengthy word with referee Phil Dowd following the final whistle.
The Seasiders boss felt Gary Taylor Fletcher's opener - that was ruled out for offside - was a perfectly legitimate goal.
He also felt Carlos Tevez was offside for City's opener and Ian Evatt had been fouled in the build-up to the Argentinian's second.
Holloway said: "The big decisions swung the game their way and Goliath has just walked off with all three points. David has been left to fill his slingshot. I wonder what the score would have been otherwise. I think David would have been happy and Goliath would have had a mark where we had hit him."
Speaking about video technology, Holloway added: "This game is being ruined at the top flight by human-beings being human. I haven't got any respect for those at the top of the game who don't understand that we need to use technology to stop these things happening."
"It's three goals in one game. I would like the fourth official to have a five second delay camera and watch it on a monitor. It's so easy."
"Referee's don't want to make mistakes. Think how much easier their life would be"
"There's only one bloke that can sort it. That's the bloke in charge of football. That's who I'm gunning for"
