Blackpool FC manager Ian Holloway has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association.

The charge relates to his clash with referee Mike Dean in the tunnel following Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers.

The Pool boss voiced his disappointment at Dean's performance, and felt Blackburn's late winner shouldn't have stood following a suspicion of offside and a foul in the build-up to the goal.

Holloway has until Friday 1 October to respond to the charge.
