Ian Holloway fears he might be in hot water with the Football Association after criticising referee Mike Dean at the end of Blackpool's 2-1 defeat by Blackburn Rovers.

The Blackpool boss confronted Dean in the tunnel after the final whistle to express his feelings on what he felt was a poor performance by the ref.

Blackpool were denied a point at Bloomfield Road when Rovers midfielder Brett Emerton struck in the last minute of stoppage-time.

However, Emerton was stood in an offside position when the ball was initially played into the box and Gary Taylor-Fletcher also appeared to be fouled in the build-up to the goal.

The Seasiders boss said: "I thought the referee had a poor game and he is going to report me for what I said to him in the tunnel.

"I can't believe what he saw."

"I thought there was some unbelievably strange decisions out there."

"I waited for him in the tunnel. Never mind, I have got to learn and I should know better - but it is ridiculous."
