Blackpool FC President Valery Belokon has revealed there's cash available to spend in January if Ian Holloway wants more players.
Belokon says he has complete faith in manager Holloway's judgment in the transfer market, suggesting there will be funds available for signings in the mid-season transfer window.
"We haven't spent too much money, but first of all we have to get a feel for the Premier League and get some experience of it," Belokon told the Blackpool Gazette.
"Once we have done that there is the January transfer window."
"It would be easy to spend money in the summer and less later, but I think it is better to be more reserved now and spend more money in January, when we have a feel for the division."
Explaining his faith in Holloway's transfer dealings, Belokon added: "Back in January, we spoke about Ludovic Sylvestre. I agreed to give more money, £750,000, to buy him.
"Ollie thought and said, 'I'm not ready'. I would have given him the money, so it was a pleasant surprise when he told me he didn't want to do the deal at that point."
"He really understands about things like this and we have since signed Ludovic for a smaller sum."
"I understand that if he asks for money, he needs money. So I have a lot of trust in him. I can trust his judgement."
