Blackpool FC manager Ian Holloway is excited with the options he has available to him from his newly assembled 24-man squad following the closure of this summer's transfer window.
Holloway made a resounding 12 signings last month in a bid for the Seasiders to cope with the rigorous demands of Premier League football.
He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted with the squad we're getting together. We've got eight internationals now, which Blackpool hasn't known for years and years.
"We couldn't have tried any harder; we couldn't have done any more. I've got to work with the people I've got now - and that's quite a relief.
"What I need to do now is work a back unit, get the midfield together with them and then have a play around with the striking options I've got, because I've now got some.
"I'm genuinely excited and I'd like to thank Karl (Oyston) for his support."
