Blackpool FC take on FK Jelgava to mark the opening of the brand new Zemgale Olympic Center this evening.

A 21-man squad have made the trip to Latvia to face the 2010 Latvian Cup winners in a friendly.

A sell-out crowd of just over 1,000 is expected.

Blackpool's President Valeri Belokon will be in attendance, along with the Prime Minister of Latvia, and their British Ambassador.

The Seasiders trained at the ground for a short period this morning in preparation for the fixture.

New signing Matt Phillips is set to make his first appearance in tangerine colours along with new record signing DJ Campbell.

The game kicks off at 6:05pm (Latvian time).
