According to reports Blackpool FC are no longer pursuing Portsmouth FC marksman David Nugent.

Seasiders boss Ian Holloway has managed to sign Leicester City striker DJ Campbell so ending his search for an extra striker.

Nugent was hoping for a return to the Premiership having been relegated with loan club Burnley FC last season and watched his parent club Pompey follow them into the Championship.

It also appears that Wigan Athletic are no longer interested as boss Roberto Martinez has completed a deal for youngster Franco di Santo.
